List yourThe rules that keep FoodFetish useful, fair and trustworthy.
FoodFetish provides restaurant discovery, listing, review and owner-management services. You agree to use the service lawfully, provide accurate information and not misuse accounts, reviews, claims, listings or technical features.
Basic unclaimed listings may contain legitimate public factual information. Contact actions and menu information are withheld from unclaimed Basic listings in accordance with FoodFetish policy. Restaurant owners may claim listings and submit information for review.
FoodFetish verification is an administrative trust status and is independent of payment. Payment for Premium does not guarantee verification, endorsement, ranking or a particular result.
FoodFetish Premium is charged at R250 per month excluding VAT, unless otherwise stated. VAT is added at the prevailing statutory rate.
If a Premium subscription is completed between the 1st and 15th day of a calendar month, the first monthly subscription fee is charged immediately. The next recurring payment is then scheduled for the 1st day of the following month, with subsequent payments processed monthly on the 1st.
If a Premium subscription is completed between the 16th and the last day of a calendar month, no subscription fee is charged for the remainder of that month. The restaurant owner must still complete the PayFast payment-authorisation process. The first subscription payment is then scheduled for the 1st day of the following month, with subsequent payments processed monthly on the 1st.
By completing a Premium subscription, the restaurant owner authorises FoodFetish and its payment service provider to process the applicable recurring subscription fee using the payment method provided.
Recurring subscription payments are processed through PayFast and continue until cancelled in accordance with FoodFetish’s cancellation policy.
Eligible public Premium features require the restaurant to be Premium, claimed and otherwise eligible under FoodFetish’s listing policies. For paid Premium subscriptions, FoodFetish relies on successful payment authorisation and valid PayFast payment or subscription notifications before confirming paid subscription status.
A restaurant owner remains responsible for keeping valid payment details associated with the subscription. If a recurring payment is declined, reversed or otherwise unsuccessful, FoodFetish may suspend or remove Premium features until the outstanding subscription payment has been resolved.
Cancellation prevents future recurring subscription charges but does not automatically entitle the restaurant owner to a refund of fees already processed, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly approved by FoodFetish.
Patron reviews may be moderated before publication. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not contain unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, fraudulent, promotional or irrelevant material. FoodFetish may reject or remove content that breaches these terms or undermines the integrity of the platform.
Restaurant details, opening hours, prices, menus and availability can change. FoodFetish aims to keep information useful but does not guarantee that every listing or third-party detail is complete or current. Users should confirm time-sensitive details directly with the restaurant where appropriate.
FoodFetish branding, software and original platform content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Restaurant owners remain responsible for ensuring they have rights to upload photos, menus, logos and other materials supplied to FoodFetish.
Directions, maps, bookings, payment services and external restaurant websites may be provided by third parties with their own terms and privacy practices.
Payment-card details used for Premium subscriptions are processed by PayFast or its payment-processing partners. FoodFetish does not require restaurant owners to provide card details directly to FoodFetish when completing a PayFast-hosted payment authorisation.
To the extent permitted by law, FoodFetish is not responsible for restaurant service quality, bookings, meals, allergic reactions, third-party services or losses arising from inaccurate third-party or owner-supplied information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms may be updated as FoodFetish develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Final legal contact details will be inserted before launch.
